Dear Dr Wang,
I read your magazine every month .I am a teenager, almost 18,and have some problems at home that I hope you can help me with .
The main problem is that I can’t get along with my parents. When I suggest doing something together, such as going to a restaurant, they wouldn’t listen. Also, they always make me do things I don’t like, such as doing housework. Then, whenever I have some spare time and want to watch a DVD, they insist that I should spend more time on my studies.
I love them a lot, but I don’t understand why they are so hard on me and will not respect the things I want to do .They were once teenagers—they should understand me better than they do.
