大額數(shù)字每三位一讀,從小到大為：thousand,million,billion.拿到一個數(shù)字,首先從個位開始數(shù)出位數(shù),四位為thousand,七位為million,十位為billion.心里有數(shù)了之后,讀的時候要從大位開始.比如：
2,567,000
首先知道這個數(shù)是7位,讀的時候以2 million開始,后面每三位就按照平時讀法,之后再加上thousand,就好了.
所以讀成：two million five hundred and sixty-seven thousand.
在表示百分?jǐn)?shù)時可以用percent或percentage
前者用法是:數(shù)詞+percent+of+sth;這時后面謂語的單復(fù)數(shù)以percent后面跟的主語為主,例如:
1.2 percent of the apples(這里是復(fù)數(shù)的可數(shù)名詞) are(所以用復(fù)數(shù)) eaten.
2.2 percent of the apple(這里是單數(shù),指的是一個蘋果的一部分) is(用單數(shù)) eaten.
3.2 percent of the water(這里是不可數(shù)名詞) is(單數(shù)) drunk.
