A hobby is something we like to do in our spare time.
From Monday to Friday most people are busy working or studying,but in the evening and on weekends they are free to enjoy themselves.Some like watching television or going to the movies,others like taking part in sports.These are hobbies.
There are many other kinds of hobbies,such as collecting stamps or making model planes.Some don’t cost anything at all,but other hobbies are very expensive.Some people think the value in dollars is not important,but the pleasure it gives us is.
Almost everyone has some kind of hobby.Most people take up a hobby for pleasure,friendships,or to develop new interests.People of almost any age can enjoy hobbies.Enjoying a good hobby for a while after hard work helps people relax.
The United States is full of cars.Many American families have two cars or even more.Cars are used for more than pleasure.They are a necessary part of life.
Cars are used for business.People drive them to offices and factories.When salesmen go to different parts of the city,they have to drive in order to carry their products.Farmers have to drive into the city in order to get what they need.
More car pools should be formed in order to have fewer cars on the road and to use less gasoline.Parking is a great problem,and so is the traffic in and around cities.Too many cars are being driven.Something will have to be done about the use of cars.
