前面沒有問題,but the future 中省略了與上文重復的 you can change,即but you can change the future.
 
問題出在the future 的定語從句which depends.關系代詞which 指代 the future,也就是he future depends,將來依賴或決定什么呢,總不能說“視情況而定的”將來吧,因此從句語意模糊.根據情理,把定語從句改作which is depended on（被依賴的將來）或which you depend on（你依賴的將來）就說得通了：
 
You can not change the past but the future which is depended on
You can not change the past but the future which you depend on 
 
也可以用兩個并列句表述：
 
You can not change the past but (you can change) the future which is depended on. 你不能改變過去,但是可以改變所依賴的將來.
You can not change the past but (you can change) the future which you depend on. 你不能改變過去,但是可以改變你所依賴的將來.也不太對，第一句which is depended on 缺一個on的賓語，或者也可以理解為缺主語，第二句語義也不怎么好，感覺depend on you 比較好，難得你寫這么長。
