雖然typical是個形容詞,但是在詞組typical of里面的typical已經(jīng)名詞化了.也就是說這里的typical＝typical ＋對應(yīng)名詞,typical of＝typical + 對應(yīng)名詞 of

Typical grassland dwellers 也是說得通的,這里typical就是一形容詞.不過這個時(shí)候后面的謂語該用復(fù)數(shù)are,后面的表語似乎也要用復(fù)數(shù).
