how long,how often,how soon的區(qū)別
how long 有以下兩個(gè)主要意思：
1. 表示多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間,主要用來(lái)對(duì)一段時(shí)間(如three days, four weeks 等)提問(wèn).
如: A：How long did he stay here? 他在這兒呆了多久?
B：About two weeks. 大約兩個(gè)星期.
A：How long does it take to get to London from here? 從這里到倫敦要多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間?
B：At least ten hours. 至少要10個(gè)小時(shí).
2. 表示某東西有多長(zhǎng).
如： A：How long is the river? 這條河有多長(zhǎng)?
B：About 500 km. 大約500千米.
how often指每隔多久,主要用來(lái)對(duì)頻度副詞或狀語(yǔ)(如：once a week, three times a month 等)提問(wèn).
如： A：How often does he come here? 他(每隔)多久來(lái)一次?
B：Once a month. 每月一次.
A：How often do you visit your mother? 你多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間看你媽媽一次?
B：Once a week. 一周一次.
how soon指再過(guò)多久,主要用來(lái)對(duì)表示將來(lái)的一段時(shí)間(如：in an hour, in two weeks 等)提問(wèn).
如：A：How soon will he be back? 他要多久才回來(lái)?
B：In an hour. 1 小時(shí)以后.
A：How soon shall we know the results? 我們多久能知道結(jié)果?
B：I don’t know. 我不知道.

what time常用來(lái)問(wèn)鐘點(diǎn),而when除了問(wèn)鐘點(diǎn)外,還可用來(lái)問(wèn)日期,月份,年份等.有時(shí)兩者可以換用,有的場(chǎng)合不可以.
1.問(wèn)鐘點(diǎn)時(shí),可以換用.
When do you go to school?
What time do you go to school?
2.問(wèn)日期,月份,年份等,只能用when
When were you born? I was born on July 2,1972.
3,當(dāng)問(wèn)某事在某天的什么具體時(shí)間進(jìn)行,只能用what time
What time did you call this afternoon?
I called at 4:00 this afternoon.
