A two-nil victory would be enough to take the Croatian side through,and they got off to a perfect start as Ante Vukusic tricked Dinamo 'keeper Gheorghe Curca into going the wrong way - and the hosts had the lead.
A second goal quickly followed,and this time Curca was badly at fault.
Mario Brkljaca mishit his shot,but Curca managed to dive over the ball and suddenly Hadjuk were in the driving seat.
Dinamo were a shadow of the side that won so impressively in the first leg,and Split made it 3-0 before the break when Marin Tomasov fired curled in a stunning strike that even the beleaguered Curca could do nothing about.
It was the deciding moment in the game as the Romanian side simply couldn't respond in the second half - Split move through 4-3 on aggregate,and into the playoffs for the Europa League.
