In my opinion,one of the most impressive movies would be Avatar (阿凡達(dá)),the epic history-making movie of the 21st century.
On a technical level,it is one of the most visually fantastic movie ever since the release of 3D movies with its wonderful images,animation as well as smooth directing.All the characters are nicely crafted and drawn with attention being paid to every single intricate detail on their faces.It is impressive the artists had to use their wild imagination to draw out these entirely fictional characters which did not exist.The directing is also very skillful - James Cameron,the director of this movie displayed great confidence and managed to put up a well-directed movie.
The movie is also impressive because it conveyed many meaningful messages.It told us about the importance of conserving the environment through the showing of deforestation scenes in the movie.It also brought across moral issues:how human kinds need to be compassionate and not heartless to other beings living on the same earth as us.
In conclusion,I feel that Avatar was really an impressive movie as it brought tears to me at the ending scenes.It is no wonder that Avatar was being rated as the biggest blockbuster of the century.
