other people's 是being late 的邏輯主語.你還可以說other people .
同樣的用法：mind doing sth( 就像空朦水域說的）
Do you mind me / my smoking?me 相當(dāng)于 other people ,my 相當(dāng)于other people's ,都是作的smoking 的邏輯主語.
也就是說：動名詞前加上賓格或所有格叫做動名詞的邏輯主語.
另外,說說為什么不說 I hate other people`s late
hate 和like 這兩個詞要注意,他們接從句的時候,通常是要接形式賓語的,然后再接真正的賓語從句.也就是說你的這句話要改一下：
I hate it that other people`s late.(it 是形式賓語,that引導(dǎo)的句子是真正的賓語）
