當(dāng)不定式作find,think,feel,consider等動詞的賓語,且有名詞或形容詞作賓語補足語時,必須使用it作其形式賓語,相當(dāng)于其后所接的賓語從句.例如
Some students find it difficult to study English = Some students find (that) it is difficult to study English.一些學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)英語很難學(xué)
Bill Gates feels it his duty to help the poor = Bill Gates feels (that) it is his duty to help the poor.比爾·蓋茨覺得濟貧是他的義務(wù).
I think / consider it wrong to do like that = I think / consider (that) it is wrong to do like that.我認為那樣做是錯誤的
注意
在“find / think / consider / feel 等 + it + n./ adj.+ to do sth.”句型中,當(dāng)賓語補足語是“no use或no good”時,“to do sth.”應(yīng)改用“doing sth.”.例如
I think it no use fighting each other.我認為彼此開戰(zhàn)沒什么用
I feel it no good only remembering the grammar rules in language learning.
