need的用法
1.當(dāng)「名詞」用(可數(shù)名詞)
ex:There is no need for anxiety.【不必焦慮.】
ex:My needs are few.【我的需要很少.】
2.當(dāng)「一般動(dòng)詞」用
(1).人 + need + to + 原V(人必須做to + 原V之事)【need to = have to】
ex:He needs to study hard.= He has to study hard.
(2).物 + need + V-ing(物必須被V)【含有被動(dòng)意思】
ex:The car needs washing.
3.當(dāng)「助動(dòng)詞」用(同can,主詞為第三人稱單數(shù)時(shí),亦不需加s,且只用於否定句及疑問(wèn)句中)
(1).Do you need to … = Need you …
(2).We don't need to ….= We needn't ….
(3).He doesn't need to …,does he = He needn't …,need he
ex:Do you need to get up so early = Need you get up so early
ex:They don't need to send the letter after all.= They needn't send the letter after all.
