Today,I want to talk some phenomenon in our country,which I think can be called "problems" in our sociaty.
At first,I want all of us think about a question:What object do we learn from primary school to college,and no matter what
project you major in,you still need to learn this object except for you do not want the degree?Yes,it's English.
Is English really so important?I think no one can deny its importance.However,we can find that no more than 10 percent of the graduates will usually use English.
And we can find that students who major in ancient Chinese and traditional Chinese medical science should learn English,too.But I can't find how English can connected
with our traditional culture.If English want to learn our traditional culture,I think it's necessary for them to learn Chinese.I have read some traditional books that
is transported into English like ShiJing,I can't find anything that can be call poem.And we should admit that we spend more time in learning English than that in Chinese.
And I can say,some Chinese Idioms can be writen down by foreigners,but we can't.
In my opinion,it's important to learn a foreign lanuage,but it's no need to be English.For example,you may want to work in German after you graduate from your college,
so you can learn Germany.If you want to study our traditional culture,you can learn ancient Chinese.Above all,English is very important,but it's not necessary for Everyone.
