the same...as...表示"與……同樣的",不是同一個(gè)
the same...that..表示"同一個(gè)",就是那個(gè)
例如：
This is the same pen as I lost last week.這同我上周丟失的那支鋼筆一樣.(但不是同一支)
This is the same pen that I lost last week.這就是我上周丟失的那支鋼筆.
the same后面可以接定語(yǔ)從句,如果后面的定語(yǔ)從句是省略的情況,則用as來(lái)引導(dǎo),即the same...as；
如果是完整的定語(yǔ)從句,須根據(jù)不同的先行詞來(lái)確定用 that,when,where,when,who等.
例如:
He studies in the same school as I.他和我在同一所學(xué)校里上學(xué).
He was born in the same hospital where my brother was born.他和我哥哥在同一家醫(yī)院里出生.
The young teacher is the same man who visited our school last year.那個(gè)青年教師就是去年來(lái)我校參觀的那個(gè)人.
