英語中從句的時態(tài)問題：
一、當(dāng)主句是一般現(xiàn)在時,從句可以根據(jù)需要使用任何一種時態(tài).
例如：I think that he likes apples./She says that her mom was ill.
二、當(dāng)主句是一般過去時,從句則要使用過去的某種時態(tài)（時態(tài)呼應(yīng)）
例如：I thought that he liked apples./She said that her mom had been ill.
I started to think Beijingthe 2008 Beijing Olympic Games is far.這句話中由于主句用了過去時,所以從句也要用過去時,所以是was.
