看情況而定：
疑問代詞who,which,what 和疑問副詞where,when,why,how亦可引導同位語從句,但它們在句子中還是充當句子成分的,例如：
It is difficult to answer your question how I did it.
很難回答你提出的我是如何做的問題.（how I did it與your question同位,不是定語從句）
I have no idea when he will come.
我不知道他什么時候來.（when he will come與idea同位,不是定語從句）
The question who should do the work requires consideration.
誰該干這項工作,這個問題需要考慮.
（ who should do the work與the question 同位,不是定語從句）I have no idea when he will come.The question who should do the work requires consideration.為什么不是定語從句？I have no idea when he will come.中的idea如果是定語從句的話，那么，就是先行詞，先行詞的idea在從句 he will come 中，當什么句子成分？位置在哪？所以，不是定語從句。idea與when he will come從句是同位關系。The question who should do the work requires consideration.與上句一樣，question與后面的從句是同位關系，question不是who的先行詞。當然，同位從句有時翻譯的時候，類似定語從句。
