7 Example
As example a bookmark portlet is used that shows user defined bookmarks that can be changed in the edit mode. This example shows how to use JSP for rendering the output customize the portlet output taking user specific data into account (portlet preferences) handle actions to allow the user to change these preferences, and provide localized output.
First the running example is presented, and then the portlet code and JSPs are explained. Finally the portlet deployment descriptor and resource bundles are provided and thus a complete portlet application is shown.
