There go在這里和there be意思相當,但there be可以有人稱、數(shù)、時態(tài)變化,而there go只用go,沒有變化.
there go中g(shù)o發(fā)生變化時,都是仍然將go按照其常用基本意思使用,因此不能像go不變時那樣能表示there be 所表示的意思.這時候go已經(jīng)徹底虛化,用來填補動詞位置,因為英語是必須有動詞才能成句的語言.
go這樣用的時候僅表示現(xiàn)在（或者一般性一貫得情況）.
比如：
There goes a man in the street.有一個人在街上走.（意思中仍然有“走”）
There go a man.有一個男人.（不在再有“走”這個意思）
There went with us a men.有一個男人和我們一起去（那兒）.
There go the bell.鈴響了（失去“走”這個意思）
