Many students learn new English words through the dictionary.They will select some words to memorize everyday.I personally do not like to memorize things or dictate paragraphs of essays just to score in examination.I would prefer to learn new words through reading.When I come across a new word in an article I am reading,I will find out the meaning of the word from the dictionary.I will also try to see how is the word being applied in the sentence.By knowing the application of the word,I can remember the word better.Memorizing word without knowing the application will not make an impact to the mind.
