Dear diary,
I had a great day today.The best thing that could happen in winter happened---it snowed!We had so much fun having snow ball fights and making snowmen.I got wet because somebody threw a snowball into my collar!whew!that's cold!It's also very enjoyable having a hot drink and reading a book in a cozy sofa.I hope the snow will not melt tomorrow.And Christmas is coming,very soon,I am secretly preparing gifts for my family.I will give them all a pleasant surprise!額我們這邊是南方，不下雪額。。那我重新寫(xiě)。。

December 23rd
Dear diary,
I'm so excited!Tomorrow will be Christmas Eve! Today I hang some stockings on the walls to decorate my room. I also searched on the internet to get to more about Christmas. I got a recipe for making gingerbread, and I gave it a try. Um, it was horrible, though, it was overcooked and tasted like crispy plastic.I made mom a card, it's pretty awesome I'm sure she will adore it! Can wait for tomorrow!
