Until a few dacades ago,the notion of students suggestion on teachers would have been unthinkable to the majority of people.Today,this practice in widespread at many higher learning institution around the world.
Frist and foremost,it is the professors themselves who benefit from being suggested by students.In general,teachers receive little feedback about the quality of their teaching.Students' results on exams and assignments may alert the instructor to areas they find difficult,but do not reflect their receptivity to the instructors' lecture style or teaching methods.Professors can receive this information in the form of students' suggestion and make any adjustments accordingly.
Besides benefiting the professors themselves,students' suggestion on teachers are also valuable to the academic institution as a whole.
In conclusion,the suggestion on college teacher by their students is beneficial to the teachers,the school and the students themselves.And studetns suggestion on teachers are of substantial use and value.
