首先填all的話“them”包括三個以上的人,句子意思是“他們我并不全喜歡”,是部分否定.
填either的話,them只能是兩個,句意為兩個都不喜歡.
在英語中all,both,every,everyone,everything,everybody,everywhere等與否定詞not,no連用時,表示的是部分否定,而非全部否定.
① I don’t know all of them.
② I don’t like both of the books.
③ Not every students goes to the farm on Sunday.
④ Not everyone in our class likes football.
若要表示全部否定,則應用相應得表示部分否定的否定詞.
all –none,both ---neither,every—no,everyone—no one（nobody）,everything—nothing,everywhere—nowhere等.以上的四個例句要表示全部否定應分別為：
① I know none of them.
② I like neither of the books.
③ No student goes to the farm on Sunday.
④ No one/ Nobody in our class likes football.
