【This is my essay about Student Center in my campus.It may be a little bit long,but I hope it can do some good to you.】
Student Center
On a cozy afternoon,I am walking on campus,enjoying my leisure time,when suddenly,waves of singings invite my ears.Oh!It is Student Center.Picking up my step,I walk close to it,a place where so many students have left their tears and laughter.
The entire building of the Student Center is just like an enormously huge crystal,reflecting the sunshine.I can see the rays of its reflection glistening in all directions as if everyone could share a pencil of its light.As a whole,Student Center is supported by 17 columns,12 outside and 5 inside,which set its outward appearance off even more majestic.
Stepping into the interior,crossing over a short period of passage,the grand main hall unfolds before my eyes.In the hall,a semicircle-shaped stage stands right in the middle of the front area.Floored by high-quality yellow wood board,the stage reminds me of the wheat field to be harvested as if telling me that I am also able to reap my own fruit here.
From the ceiling of the hall hang two claret curtains,down to floor,along the front rim of the stage.When a program begins,as the curtains part to each wing of the stage,there will be rounds of applause clapped out by the audience to show their respect and interest.
In terms of the stage,there will be performance; mentioning the performance,the auditorium cannot be omitted.In the main hall,altogether there are two stories of auditorium,including 600 seats in the first floor and 200 more in the second.All the chairs are decorated by purplish red velvet so that audience’s passion will be easily aroused.Sitting in between these reds,it seems that flares of warmth are welling up in my heart,making my leg unwilling to take any other step.
Sitting in red,I begin to look around to the cream-colored wall.With trillions of honeycomb-shaped holes on the wall,the main hall looks much more stereoscopic,as if behind the wall hides another wonderland.In fact,this distinguished shape is designed to absorb noise as well as soufflé so that the audience could enjoy the best preformed Audio-visual feast.
Student Center,with its main hall of grandiosity,has let numerous students get their chance of presenting themselves.It is really a place filled with dream-pursuing,a paradise full of self-fulfilling.
