As market fluctuation and unprecedented competitive pressure facing by Infastech Malaysia to growth the business,win more orders with customers focus and align with the corporate objectives,the signification of study on this research topic is become important to Infastech Malaysia success.The significant and justification on this research are:
• To improve supply chain management processes in Infastech Malaysia.
• To improve customers satisfaction through customer relationship.
• Identifying and benchmarking the different strategies and models that use in similar or different industries.
• To re-align internal resources to improve the business capabilities to growth with others than electronic segment such as automotive segment in home country.
• To identify strategies to enter prospective markets and growth opportunity segments in home country.
• To share the knowledge that has learnt through this research project with Infastech Malaysia team as a competency development program.
• To improve Infastech global reputation and meet the global objectives to increase revenues and profit that to be returned to shareholders.
This work-base research project also give a benefic to company as well as to author which this project will:
• To gain and increase knowledge and leadership skills of author on supply chain strategies that are implementing in Infastech Malaysia against the strategies that are implementing by different companies and industries.
• Apply the knowledge learnt through this research for other Infastech manufacturing plants.
• Increase analytical skills of the leader and manager with the articles,and reference books that have read during research by understand the concepts and the application to work areas.
• Enables author to identify and analyze the problems / weaknesses in Infastech Malaysia supply chain process and then lead the team to carry out improvement activities in systematic ways.
• To build the leaders and managers knowledge and behavior to be more customers focus oriented on their day to day duties.
