Long sentence is common in English language and the translation of it into Chinese is a difficult problem. To make the target conform to the logic of the source properly, the article shall analyze how to translate this sort of sentences in various perspectives, such as sequential, reversing, splitting, inserting and recasting translation skills. Also, the article points out the impact of cultural difference between western countries and China on the translation is necessarily considered in translation process.
