later on不對
英語里一個句子只能有一個謂語動詞(動詞原形/過去式/第三人稱單數(shù)都是謂語動詞).
and then里面and是并列連詞,并列連詞的作用就是連接并列成分,在這里它連接了兩個并列的句子,既然是兩個句子,那整句話出現(xiàn)兩個謂語(listened,took)很正常.
而later on不是連詞,不能連接句子,那整句話里出現(xiàn)兩個謂語部分就不行了. 如果想用later on,可以把原句拆成兩個句子,這樣就保證了一句話一個謂語,可以說成:
He listened to the tape for half an hour. Later on(,) he took a bath.
或者仍用并列連詞and來連接并列句,說成:
He listened to the tape for half an hour, and later on(,) he took a bath.
