Thanks for your enquiry regarding volunteering abroad with International Volunteer HQ (IVHQ).
Volunteers under 18 years of age are able to participate on IVHQ programs if they volunteer with a friend or relative who is at least 18 years of age.For those volunteering with a guardian other than their parents,we require written parental consent to participate on the program.
Underage volunteers must be accompanied in their accommodation and volunteer work placement by the person serving as their guardian.We are able to place and accommodate friends and family together and in order to do this,you will each need to apply online and clearly reference each other's names in the comment section of your application forms.Our local staff will then ensure you are placed and accommodated together for your volunteer program.
