During my spare time, I have put myself into the world ofPhantomOf The Opera”. It tells us a mysterious and miserable love tragedy which happened in the 19th century. Christine was one of the unknown actresses in the Paris Opera House. One day she took the place of the most famous part in Faust unexpectedly. She did a beautiful job and everyone was surprising by her amazing talent. At the same time, the “Vicomte de Chagny”Raoul who was Christine’s friend in her childhood was attracted by her, as well. Soon they became fall in love with each other. But the phantom Erik loved Christine,too.He tried his best to keep her of his own. According to Christine,her true love was Raoul,not Erik. She even hates him.She hates his ugly appearance, his terrible behavior, and his hideous heart and so on. Bur she had to obey Erik’s words because she didn’t want innocent people in the Opera House to die. Raoul attempted to help Christine even he would loose his life. At last, the phantom Erik was moved by the true love, and he realized Christine wouldn’t love him forever. So he disappeared forever!
The phantom of the opera is a very pitiable man. Though he has great talent in music, magic and architecture. He is look down on his terrible appearance. Everyone rejects him, so that he is lonely and desperately. Erik act as a bad man in the story, but in fact he is lack of people’s caring. In my opinion, if there’s someone teaching him and concerning for him. We will see a warm-hearted and happy Erik. I think it is the peple’s personality that worth, not their appearance.
What about the other two important role—Raoul and Christine? Does their true love really shock you? I am deeply impressed by their uneasy love. I admire their bravery in front of the great difficulties. Especially when Christine is disappear. Raoul tries his best to find out Christine, even though it’s very dangerous and thrilling. Raoul uses his own life to protect Christine. Fortunately, they can stay with each other forever. IN our real world, not everybody can do as Raoul. Raoul has also fought against his better judgment of Christine’s birth, his family’s expectations, the inferiority of Christine’s birth, his rank. Of course, Raoul treats Christine as the most important thing. One the contrary, some people treats their position power so important that they often miss other happiness in daily life like true love or family. Many of which often escape from reality, they would rather be the coward. Maybe, we can get what e really want if we could be brave enough.
The story give me a world full of happiness and sorrow. It tells me to be optimistic to the world. It also teaches me to care more about others. And I believe that love and peace will be our world’s main theme. So let’s be friendly to everyone and always be ready to help others. Isn’t that future will bi more beautiful?
