For example,there are a lot of wars in the world.Like World War I and the most famous war:World War II.And the result of World War II is very bad.There were a lot of people died and a lot of money disappeared.But now people know that war is bad for us.So some countries were stopped the war.For example,Obama stopped the Iraq War.
And there is also have pollution.Like the air is becoming dirty and dirtier.But now people also know that it is wrong to dump chemical waste into air.So people are limiting the pollution in air.
Saving the world is saving yourself.
