Recently, there has been a discuss on what life may be like on the earth in 1000 years in our class. Both advantages and disadvantages of future life were brought up by my classmates.
On the one hand, some believe that future promises numberless benefits. For example, robots will be popularized into everyday life to free human beings from physical labor. Besides, transportation will be improved, and people can get access to various kinds of vehicles ranging from airplanes to magnetic suspension trains. In addition, medical treatment for citizens will be largely promoted so that there will be no longer disease on earth.
On the other hand, others also remind us of potential disadvantages of future life. For instance, there may be more environmental pollution, and the planet becomes unlivable for people. Furthermore, resource shortage will appear as a result of over exploitation.
In summarization, we must learn hard to improve our living standards and prepare ourselves for future life.
