感恩節(jié)（Thanksgiving Day）,美國(guó)和加拿大節(jié)日,由美國(guó)首創(chuàng)的,原意是為了感謝印第安人,后來(lái)人們常在這一天感謝他人.自1941年起,感恩節(jié)是在每年11月的第四個(gè)星期四在這一天起將休假兩天,都要和自己的家人團(tuán)聚,不管多忙（有些特殊崗位除外）都是如此.感恩節(jié)在每年11月22－28日之間,感恩節(jié)是美國(guó)國(guó)定假日中最地道、最美國(guó)式的節(jié)日,加拿大的感恩節(jié)則起始于1879年,是在每年10月第二個(gè)星期一,與美國(guó)的哥倫布日相同.2009年的感恩節(jié)在 2009年11月26日.2010年的感恩節(jié)在 2010年11月25日.
