first對
first,firstly
這兩個詞的意義很近似,又都有“首先”、“第一”之意,但使用場合不盡一致.
First的使用范圍較大,可以作名詞、形容詞和副詞,有時還可以代替firstly使用；firstly的運用范圍較小,只能作副詞,用于列舉事實或理由的場合.
漢語里的“首先”、“第一”,在英語中是firstly、first of all、in the first place或干脆說first；但漢語中的“最后一點”,英語里卻不說last,而是說lastly或last of all,這是應當記住的.
