Not long ago,I went with my father and mother to my hometown in the countryside of Anhui to visit my grandparents.This was the first time to be back in the past five years.Five years ago,people still carried water on their shoulders.Now,they have tap water and they cook with natural gas without smoke anymore.They do not have to go out to watch plays.Instead,they watch them on TV.There are big changes in the school too.They have built new teaching buildings.There are huge changes in the countryside.Everything is new.Lots families can go on internet now.They can contact people thousand kilometers away.Actually,my cousins often share information and pictures with me at any time.There are many private cars now.Five years ago,there were only a few cars for the officials.But now you can see car running on the road all the time,but this has brought problems.There is not enough parking space.Cars are parked anywhere.Also,cars have brought noise and pollution.However,people there like cars and they feel proud to have one.
As you can see,there are lots of changes in my hometown.Most are for good,while some give us trouble.I am imagining what my hometown will be like in next five years!
