divide是把一個整體分成若干分（當然兩分也是）；separate是原來在一起分開.
但是前者是側(cè)重于“一個連起來的整體”,后者是“一個整體”.舉個例子,把蛋糕分成四片：We divide the cake into four pieces.
我倆在山里分開了：we sepead in the hill.
