2.many 后面也只能加可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù),做主語(yǔ)時(shí)謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞也用復(fù)數(shù).
其用法類似于large numbers of.
如：There are many students in this school.
不過(guò),many還可做代詞（相當(dāng)于名詞用法）,但是large numbers of不可以.
如：--How many books are there in the library?--Too many.(= Too many books.)
3.lots of既可加可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù),也可以加不可數(shù)名詞.
該結(jié)構(gòu)做句子主語(yǔ)時(shí),謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的數(shù)和其后的名詞保持一致,即：加可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)時(shí)動(dòng)詞用復(fù)數(shù),加不可數(shù)名詞時(shí)動(dòng)詞用單數(shù).
如：There is lots of money in the bank.
There are lots of customers in the bank.
4.a great quantitiy of后面既可以加可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù),也可以加不可數(shù)名詞.
該結(jié)構(gòu)做句子主語(yǔ)時(shí),無(wú)論其后加可數(shù)名詞還是不可數(shù)名詞,謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞一律用單數(shù)形式（和quantity一致）.
如：A great quantity of students is getting ready for the exam.
A great quantity of water flows into sea.
