不可以這么改.
首先,提問用了 “could”,表示客氣,后面的動詞要用原型,如果要改成 telling, 從語法上應該變成 could you BE telling me.. 而不是簡單的變成 telling.
同樣的,can 表示能夠,后面的動詞要用原型,如果要改,就要變成 can be getting.
原句中的用法都是慣用的說法,而你這樣的改動違反了語言習慣.
