others和the other 和other還有another the others這幾個詞的用法
another,(the)other 和 (the) others都表示“另外的、別的”,但其意思及用法仍有所不同.
another和the other 都用來表示“另一個”.
(1) anther 指的是三個或三個以上的人或同類中的另一個,只能和單數(shù)名詞連用.
(2) the other指已知的兩個人或事物中的另一個,常和one搭配使用,構成one...the other句型,表示一個……另一個…….它和復數(shù)名詞連用指“其他的……”.
(3) other 可用作形容詞,修飾單、復數(shù)名詞.
(4) others 通常可以做代詞使用,比如：other students=others.
表示泛指,意為“其他的人或事物”,表示除了一部分以后的另一些,但不是剩下的全體,有列舉未盡的意味在內(nèi),常和some搭配構成some...others句型.用做復數(shù),表示一些……另一些.
