選擇C項

此處可以根據(jù)句意理解
沒有人能夠確定未來人們究竟會住怎樣的房子?
其他的幾個句意明顯不通
第二題：
選擇C項
I do like to know where you were.
此處如果要考察情態(tài)動詞的話
應該是這樣的：
I would like to know where you were.
此處的do是強調(diào)的意味
第三題：
選擇D項
May you be happy!
表達愿望、祝愿時,一般這樣表達：
May you both be happy!
May they live long!
Long may he live!
May she enjoy her life!
第四題：
選擇A項
The matter may be changed into gas ,but it needn't be heated to its boiling point.
譯為：這個物質(zhì)能變成氣體,但是不需要加熱到沸點.
第四句用can也是可以的
語法上,意思上都說得通
但是選項的組合只能是A項
