may need wear some extra cloth to protect the cold.I am fine with hot weather,but do not like the air conditioning,easily to get cold also.for the new comer to US,it really depends on what kind of working experience she/he has,and education background.usually for the white-collar jobs (or high paid jobs,we do not use "white-collar" in US now,the word may against someone),new comers need go to schools again,to get higher or secondary degree.and also English skills are also critical.to my partner,I do not mind what she does,as long as she love to do that,or just stay home if we have kid,and not complaints about the life,could be kind of boring here in US.
