The Shadow of Romance Seeking on the Campus"
Any student who seeks romance on the campus is like a dog chasing its tail who,when he captures it,does not know what else to do but to continue chasing it.The cruelty of romance on the campus is that it often leads such seekers to reap nothing but regret from it.
On the one hand,the conquest of campus romance is a far-from-ripe fruit at best,and many end up academically if not emotionally bankrupt.
On the other,those who run into an ideal romance are hard-pressed to sustain their college life as ever.When they become appealed to each other,for example,their schoolwork begins to show a lack of continuity in its appeal and it becomes difficult to focus as much of their minds on lessons as before.Some students who do attempt to enrich their campus life by hunting for romance from time to time run a significant risk of drowning in it,whereas others who are forced to stay away from it have to give up the freedom to get on well with opposite sexes.Oddly enough,the greatest winners are those who,despite temptation around,remain true to their quest for knowledge,because their hunger for knowledge has motivated them to work even harder to reach new peaks of excellence.For many other students,however,romance seeking is the end of their college life,not thebeginning.
“It is high time to wake up to what you come here for!” is my advice to those who blindly seek romance on the campus.But alas,those who stop to realize it often find it too late to relive the golden period from the very beginning.So instead of trying so hard to seek romance,try to be happy with what you reap from books or ok嗎還行吧
