經(jīng)常在證明文件中看到這句話,它的最準(zhǔn)確翻譯是什么呢?這個是狀語吧?可以放在句尾嗎?
The undersigned hereby certifies,on the basis of relative invoice and other supporting documents,that the above-mentioned goods originate in the country shown in box 4 to the best of its knowledge and belief.
這是原產(chǎn)地證明的一段話，以前也經(jīng)常見到類似的，但是從來沒見過把to the best of its knowledge and belief放在最后的，不知道在翻譯上有什么區(qū)別嗎？
再補充：那如果這句話在句首呢？我看很多都是翻譯成“基于最大的了解和信任”。如果在句首，應(yīng)該用哪個翻譯？
