I get a little pocket money every month .My parents say I have to learn to look after my money and live within a budget .I’ll have to do that when I become independent .so they never give me any more if I spend the money too quickly .I think this is fair .I have to do the housework for about an hour every day .I wash the dishes and my own clothes ,clean the floors and toilet and sometimes cook meals .my parents never pay me for doing the housework .It’s the responsibility of the whole family ,right
My parents give me presents sometimes .The presents are usually something useful .For example ,when they saw that I was serious about learning tennis they bought me a good racket .They only buy me simple clothes .They often say “No” when I ask for things .They say it’s bad to expect things for nothing .
We have one TV for the whole family ,and I am allowed to watch it for about seven hours each week .
