Changes in People’s Diet
This table shows the changes in people’s diet from the year 1986 to 1990.From the table,one can see that great changes have taken place in the past five years.There is a general trend of decrease in the consumption of grain,but an increase in the consumption of some high protein,high energy food,such as milk and meet.
There are two major reasons for the change in people’s diet.On the one hand,after the carrying out of the reform and open to the outside world policy,people have become rich,which enables them to afford food with more nutrition.On the other hand,people have more knowledge in improving the structure of their diet.They not only pay attention to the quantity but also the quality of what they eat.
So from the analysis,we can draw a conclusion that our society is progressing and people are living a better life than before.We are now able to get more delicious and nutritious food,resulting in an improvement in our health.We can be sure that a better life will be waiting for us in the future
