    The wheels scooped up stones和stones which hammered ominously under the car.在邏輯上,兩個(gè)動(dòng)作在時(shí)間上是先后發(fā)生的(在理解上和翻譯成中文時(shí)都是兩個(gè)句子),但這兩個(gè)動(dòng)作由一個(gè)定語從句合并在了一個(gè)復(fù)雜句中了.我不明白這種表達(dá)方式在英語里是習(xí)慣的表達(dá)還是特例?
