前面的幾個人的回答,有的是對的但似乎都還是不那么完整.
我的答案分別是：前一題為B,后一題是C比較好,但B也可以.
我的看法是：
1.前一題應(yīng)該比較沒爭議,但強(qiáng)調(diào)一下,”a number of”雖可以翻譯為”許多”,但更應(yīng)該翻譯成”一些”.
2.后一題如果選A,那題目的句子應(yīng)去掉”the”成為”A great many
buildings were….”；而題目的”buildings”是可數(shù)名詞,顯然不能用D的”Agreat deal of”(只能用在不可數(shù)名詞)；答案B與C雖然都也可翻譯為”許多”,但B的強(qiáng)烈程度不如C(見前面1的說明),所以如果有前后文來比對,才能說B或C哪個對,換個說法答案C表達(dá)了災(zāi)情慘重,答案B則表示是有”一些”房屋被沖倒.
