Many people allege that the Internet will isolate us from one another.At any rate,I disagree with it mainly for three reasons:
First,I think that the Internet can give us more information and latest news.Since in this real world,information,technology,knowledge and things like that vary day by day,and the Internet is the most convenient and quickest way to communicate the latest information,the Internet,I think,will not isolate us from one another,but bring us to the latest and ever-changing world.
Second,the Internet can get us more intimate with our old classmates and old friends.Though by phone and letter,we can also keep in touch with one another,yet by phone it is impossible for us to talk too long with each other and it takes too much time to write and send a letter.At any rate,communicating by e-mail is both more convenient and less time-consuming and the Internet will get us much closer to our old friends.
Finally,the Internet makes it easier for us to make new friends.In the real world,not all of us are bold enough to make friends with strangers.However,it isn’t a problem at all in the virtual world where you can ‘talk’ and make friends with strangers (whom you may never meet in your lifetime) without knowing anything,even whether the stranger is a male or a female,but then we’ve made friends.
Overall,the Internet will not isolate us from one another,but get us closer to the real world.
