A Clever Boy
Tony is a clever boy.He is nine years old.He goes to school very early and
gets home very late every day.He has many good friends at school.They often
play together after class.
Today is his dad`s birthday.He wants to go home earlier.But his teacher
Mrs.White is very strict.She says,"No,all of you must finish the homework
first." He has to go back to his seat.But he thinks " I must...must..."
Mrs.White is a little tired and sleepy.She closes her eyes and takes a nap
in her chair for a while.Now Tony has an idea.He walks on his toes and comes
to the teacher.He colours her glasses black with a paintbrush.Then he goes
back his seat quickly,sits down,and says," Hello,Mrs.White.It`s dark now.
Shall we go home "
Mrs.White opens her eyes and says,"Oh,yes.It`s so dark.Go home please.
Be careful on your way home."
Tony runs out of the classroom as quickly as he can.
