Have you heard that the polar bears are crying for their losing home and food? Like other lives and species, our human beings have only one earth, one homeland. If we don’t protect and treasure it, finally we will destroy and lose it. Fortunately, in our world, there are a large number of people advocating a low-carbon life to change the living way and hold back the pollution.
Low carbon life means low energy and no waste, which is a new life style to save our resources. It can endow us and our society with numerous benefits. Firstly, it contributes a lot to the environmental protection and it is an efficient way to slow down the rate of climate change.
Secondly, low-carbon life can protect the rare animals of Arctic, such as seals, penguins and polar bears. Actually, when we preserve (改為save 好些)the earth and the species, we are also protecting ourselves.
\x09Low carbon life is such a significant project that we should take measures to promote it. I have the following suggestions:
First of all, we should control the use of private cars, which can release a large sum of carbon dioxide to the earth. Instead, we can choose riding a bike as a vehicle.
What’smore, we are supposed to decrease the use of disposable supplies, such as the disposable chopsticks and throw-away lunch boxes. On the contrary, we can use the reusable items. For example, we can use a bag instead of the plastic bag when we go shopping.
Finally, as a student, we ought to save the energy and resources in our surroundings. We can turn off electrical appliances when we don’t need them. We can use the waste paper as the draft paper. We can change the rubbish and reuse it.
In a word, all of us should take the responsibility to protect our environment and reduce the pollution. Low-carbon life is nothing but the best choice for us and only in this way can we build a harmonious relationship with environment.
