Save Water
Everyone knows that water plays an important role in human’s life.If there is no water on earth one day,we won’t survive.Now water shortage is a global issue.There are many areas which lack adequate water in china,such as ,xibei .Although the problem is not severe in Xiamen ,we still should be aware of this problem.If we still do not save water,we will pay for our behavior Thus; we should cherish and save water.
How would it feel if you find someone wasting water?Do you feel angry?Do you feel that the man’s behavior is shameful?But have you ever thought whether you do the same thing as him?Perhaps you are aware that wasting water is wrong and people should protect the water source from being wasted .However,you cannot refrain yourself from doing it .Now there are about seven billion people on the earth.Can you imagine that how much water would be wasted if one wastes a drop of water?On the contrary,how much water would be saved?Do you not take a shower for a week?I think most of us cannot stand it.But a great many people only take a shower for a whole life in many areas which lack water.If someone cooks with water which is as dirty as washing water,can you eat it?Can you imagine that someone must spend 7-8 hours in fetching water every day?Perhaps,we think it is no business of us because it did not happen to us .however,we are still live on the earth ,if there is no water throughout the world .we also die for lacking of water.It is reported that there are one 1.2 billion people who face the pressure of having a severe water shortage,80 countries lack adequate water,and the water resource of only 2 billion people can be assured.
We can save water from in daily life,for example,by recycling water.First,we can make full use of the water used for washing our face to flushing toilets or washing the floor.Second,we can try to turn down the tap pressure to help reduce the amount of water we use.If we continue to waste water,we will regret it one day.Therefore,we shouldn’t do something you regret.So please save water from now on.Will today be the day that you go about saving water?I encourage we do this.
In conclusion let me challenge all of us to begin today saving water.We are obliged to do it as good citizen living on this beautiful earth.
