that一般不單獨(dú)引導(dǎo)狀語從句,要和其它詞一起來引導(dǎo)狀語從句：
一、原因狀語從句
now that 既然,因為
　Now that dinner is ready,go and wash your hands.既然飯已好了,洗手去吧.
　　conidering that,seeing that鑒于 事實,考慮到
　　Seeing that quite a few people were absent,we decided to put the meeting off.
　　由于好些人都沒到會,我們決定延期開會.(seeing 后面的that可以省略)
　　Considering that they are just beginners,they are doing quite good job.
　　考慮到他們才剛剛學(xué)做,他們干得算很不錯的了
not that  but that 不是因為 而是因為.
　　Not that I don't like the film,but that I have no time for it.不是因我不喜歡看這部電影,而　　是因為我沒有時間看.
二、目的狀語從句　　引導(dǎo)目的狀語從句的主要連詞有that,so,so that,sothat,in order that等,從句中常常使用一些情態(tài)動詞
　　Let's take the front seats that we may se more clearly.我們坐前排吧,這樣我們可以看得更清楚些.
三、結(jié)果狀語從句　　引導(dǎo)結(jié)果狀語從句的連詞有：that,so (that),sothat,suchthat等.結(jié)果狀語從句通常置于主句之后.
　　The room was packed with people,so that we couldn't get in.房間里擠滿了人,我們進(jìn)不去.
　　What has happened tha you look so worried 發(fā)生了什幺事,使你顯得如此擔(dān)心?
四、條件狀語從句　　on condition that　　provided that,suppose that,given that
　　Given that they are inexperienced,they've done a good job.
　　考慮到他們?nèi)狈?jīng)驗,他們的工作已做得很好了
