圣誕訪客
　　在馬賽城的一間小鞋店內(nèi),有一個手藝精巧的鞋匠馬丁,望著窗外的皚皚白雪,想起了圣誕節(jié)的主角耶穌：“今晚正是白色圣誕夜,假如明天是第一個圣誕,耶穌誕生在馬賽城里,我將會送給他一雙精美的小皮鞋.”
　　說著,馬丁從鞋架上取了一雙小皮鞋,仔細(xì)地擦拭灰塵,喃喃自語：“我真傻,主耶穌怎么會要我的小禮物?”
　　馬丁熄了燈就寢,在睡意正濃時,他卻清楚聽到耶穌對他說:“馬丁,馬丁,你很想見我嗎?明天我會到你鞋店的窗口來拜訪你.”
　　鞋匠馬丁一早起來,就把店里上下打掃干凈,又燒了熱咖啡,預(yù)備迎見耶穌.萬王之王光臨,總要表現(xiàn)一點心意.上午耶穌還沒來,倒有個可憐的清道夫,手拿掃把,在寒風(fēng)中凍僵了身子.馬丁招呼他進(jìn)來烤火,喝杯熱咖啡,暖暖身子.
　　下午耶穌仍未出現(xiàn).窗外走來一個窮寡婦,背著一個小孩,婦人面色蒼白,小孩也凍得小臉通紅,馬丁邀請他們進(jìn)來,招待他們飲食和熱水,贈送他們衣服,又把那雙準(zhǔn)備送給耶穌的小皮鞋,穿諍⒆詠派希?サ?裎鎩?BR> 那晚馬丁就寢前,耶穌仍未來訪.“啊,那只是一個夢.”馬丁最后自言自語地入睡.就在似睡似醒時,鞋店的窗口忽然閃亮起來,玻璃窗上顯現(xiàn)出清道夫、窮寡婦和小孩的臉,他們微笑地說:“馬丁,我已經(jīng)來訪問過你了.”
　　朦朧中,耶穌仁慈地對馬丁說：“凡為我的名,接待一個像這小孩子的,就是接待我.因為我餓了,你給我吃；我渴了,你給我喝；我作客旅,你留我住.我實在告訴你,這些事你既做在我這弟兄中一個最小的身上,就是做在我身上了.”（Christmas visitors
